Step 3: Get Your Excel File Ready
Now we get to the important part: uploading your contacts from an excel file!
First, make sure you have your excel file containing all your contacts numbers ready. The file should be formatted according to these 5 rules:
The first row of the file should be a header (the name of the column), like "Phone Numbers" for example.
All the phone numbers should be in Column A.
The file should contain only one column, no more!
All the numbers must be in the "25078XXXXXXX" format, nothing starting with "07" or "7".
The numbers format should be "Number" (and not general or any other).
See the below example to make sure your file is formatted correctly:
As you can see, this file follow the 5 rules:
The first row is a header called " My Contacts Phone Numbers"
All the phones numbers are located in Column A.
All the other columns are empty.
All the phone numbers are in the "250" format.
The format is "Number".
If you want to be sure your file is ok, please download the example file attached and fill it in with your own contact info!
Step 4: Upload Your Excel
Come back to the Campaign creation screen, and click on "Upload Excel" and choose the file on your computer.
Then the magic happens! All your numbers are now imported!
Step 5: Send Your Campaign
That's it folks! Now you just have to press the Launch Campaign button and your campaign will be on its way!
See you soon!
